Somebody Up There Likes Me

Houghton Hall Alpacas may be dispersing the majority of their herd but they were still sweeping the board in some of the biggest shows of the season so far.

The British Alpaca Society National Show at Telford International Centre in March saw Houghton Tailor Made, owned by Houghton Hall Alpacas, take the Supreme Suri in the halter classes while Houghton Jubilation, now owned by Fangdale Alpacas was awarded the Huacaya Supreme. Record numbers of alpacas were at the show with some 600 being shown.

The NWAG Alpaca Championship Show, held in Carlisle, saw Houghton Jubliation take her second Supreme whilst Kurrawa Hell Raiser owned by Beck Brow Alpacas was awarded the Suri Supreme Championship.
